Individual Therapy
Individual therapy includes weekly 50-minute sessions. During the first session I ask clients what brought them into treatment, and provide a supportive space for them to tell me their stories while I complete an initial assessment of the client.
The initial therapy sessions will focus on building trust and understanding the client’s presenting challenges. I help clients understand themselves and to process how their personal experiences have shaped the way they approach their relationships and their environment. I work with my clients to develop a healthy framework to better understand who they are, how they got here, and the patterns they have developed along the way.
With therapy, I help clients process the ways they have coped in the past with life experiences, and guide them as they develop more helpful coping skills for the future. I clinically support clients to achieve the effective and long lasting changes they want to see in their lives.
