About Daphne Rahnama, LCSW No. 73843
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about the psychological wellbeing of others. In my years of clinical practice, I have worked with various populations and gained clinical experience in numerous environments, including the private practice setting.
I trained at the Department of Mental Health in South Los Angeles where I served those who were suffering from severe and persistent mental illnesses. I have also worked in school settings across Los Angeles with students ranging from elementary to high school ages coping with various traumas and emotional disturbances.
I obtained my clinical hours working at the Jewish Family Services of Los Angeles where I worked primarily with the elderly population providing in-home therapy services to those who are end of life and coping with past and current traumas. In addition to my clinical experience, I worked at LA Care Health Plan where I provided case management services to those in need throughout Los Angeles County.
I am bicultural and bilingual, and I have extensive experience providing therapy in Persian/Farsi.
It is important for me to build a trusting therapeutic relationship with my clients and to provide empathy throughout the clinical process. I believe in building an interactive and non-judgmental relationship with my clients so that they can feel safe to talk openly about themselves. I am committed to helping my clients identify a stronger sense of self and a more resilient condition.
